For the past 60 years the photographs from the famous Magnum Photos’ agency has been distributed all over the planet. They
have strongly influenced our concept ofthe world and our history
and some of the them have become part of our collective memory.

We are proud to be the only gallery to have the rights to choose fifteen photographs from the agency’s archives, which we are offering in an exclusive portfolio. These selected works are formed from the best photographers of the agency and the best images
from the history of photography.

The portfolio will be published in an edition of seven. Each photograph is signed, dated and numbered by the photographer.

The Magnum Photos agency was founded in New York in 1947
as the first independent photoagency. Founders were the reputable photographers Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, David ‘Chim’ Seymour and George Rodger.

Today, Magnum Photos counts approximately forty members and sixteen correspondents. The agency has offices in Paris, London, New York and Tokyo.

In spite of the increasingly strong presence of the televised media, the agency remaines extremely active. In these current times,
where things go faster and faster, the agency is the alive testimony
of the representativeness and the capacity of photography. Many
of its images are universally known; some are even among the most important in the history of photography.
